Djamila

NATIONALITY : German
BREED: Hannover
YEAR OF BIRTH: 2002
MOTHER: Fahra
FATHER: Dacaprio

Djamila, hannoveraner mare awarded by the state as selected Hanover mare, with 8 in trot, 8.5 in walk, and 9 in gallopp; daughter of ST. PR. HAUPTSTUTBUCH FAHRA and DACAPRIO, she was purchased in 2005 in Germany by the international rider Hannes Baumgart, who has also tamed her and where she received the first years of training.
At 5 years old, the young Djamila has spent a few months in the stables of Morten Thomsen, already showing her qualities and her very strong character.
She continued her career in Italian team, winning twice the title of Italian champion, until 2011, when I started riding her.
Djamila has always made me proud, because she was often admired for its beautiful physical structure and her expressive and elegant movements, even though she wasn't always easy to manage for me because at that time I was only 16 and had little experience in dressage.
Our first competition together was "Alpe Adria" in Lipica, it was for me the first time abroad and also my first "Junior"; it was lovely! I enjoyed it so much even if I was very excited!
ur first International was a success: we got the first place in both Team Tests and in Kur and the second place in the individual category.
In 2012 we got 3 qualifications for the European Junior Championships: Sommacampagna, Vidauban and Arezzo. In addition we also got a bronze medal in the Italian Championships Freestyle and the first place at the Regional Championships with a score of 66.44%.
Unfortunately the three qualifications weren't enough to get into the European team because one was missing abroad, but despite this it has been a year full of satisfaction and growth.
In 2013 we made our debut in St George in Alessandria with an excellent 64.1&, where Djamila unfortunately injured herself.
In 2014 she came back into work and in early 2015 she made his return in the competitions with a nice 64% in St George in Sommacampagna.
