Nirvana was given me as a present by my parents in summer 2013, when I came back from holiday. I went to the stable and he was there to wait for me with a yellow bow.
It was an undescribable emotion.
He was lovely, he was the sweetest horse I have ever seen, and I couldn't wait to ride him... it wasn't easy at fist but I was sure that I would have been able to ride him... I knew he was the right horse for me.
Shortly after we took part in the Italian Young Rider Championships and immediately got our first medal and after less than a month we made our debut in Inter 1 with an excellent 65%.
The first international abroad was at the CDI Vidauban with 65.6% near to the qualification and then we got it in the CDI 3 * Lipica and CDI3 * San Giovanni in Marignano.
Then we have been chosen for the European Championships in 2014. I was very strained and the horse extremely tired after a busy year, but we got the 63,16% anyway.
Despite this it was a wonderful experience, where I was able to compare myself and observe great riders and great horses!
In January 2015 we made our debut in the "Winter Cup" of Truccazzano in Grand Prix where we got the first place. This victory was as unexpected as rewarding, also for the fact that we had very little time to get ready!
We confirmed that good feeling in Bologna where we got the second place in the "Italian Cup" with 64.8% in the Grand Prix and 65% in the Grand Prix Special.
The "Granny" of the house is really living his second youth and it is a joy for me to see him so willing and confident in me.
"Nini" is really a special horse, we are what is known as a very good combination, we try to help each other and when he enters the arena he always gives me everything he has.
I feel so lucky to have met him.
